12:55 - 1:35 PM - Tariffs, Trade Wars & Textile Truths: What Brands & Printers Must Know Now

In an era where every percentage point of cost matters, this session lifts the veil on how tariffs, trade enforcement, and shifting global policies are reshaping the economics of sourcing, printing, and apparel manufacturing.

Join Auggie Tantillo, one of Washington’s foremost textile and trade strategists, for an incisive, action-oriented discussion tailored for brands, retailers, decor businesses, and textile printers. He will translate federal trade nuance into boardroom clarity — so you walk away not just informed, but prepared.

Key takeaways your team will get:

·       Specifics as to how the new U.S. tariff regime is constructed and how it is impacting the textiles, print, and finished goods pipeline.

·       Today is Stage 1 of Tariffs agreements.  Get ready for Stage 2 of enforcement and the key factors that will help you survive.

·       A forward-looking framework for adjusting business plans, so rising trade friction becomes a strategic differentiator, not a cost sinkhole.

In today’s volatile trade climate, brands, decorators, and textile printers can’t treat tariffs as abstract policy noise — they’re profit levers and vulnerability points. For many, margins are razor thin, and a surprise duty or reclassification audit can shred ROI. This isn’t a theoretical talk about global economics. It’s a practical, risk-managed playbook aimed at companies who want to stay ahead, not just stay afloat.

2:15 - 2:45 PM - Chaos to Clockwork: How Workflow Automation Powers Profit for Brands & Decorators

As brands push for speed, transparency, and consistency across their apparel supply chains, manual processes are no longer sustainable. From order entry to shipping, the apparel industry’s legacy workflows create bottlenecks, misprints, and missed delivery windows — the kind of friction that erodes profit and damages brand trust.

In this powerful session, learn how leading companies are turning chaos into clockwork through end-to-end workflow automation that connects every step of production, fulfillment, and reporting.

Moderated by Jayson Tompkins (Fulfill Engine), this discussion brings together two industry leaders who have implemented automation at scale:

Jaymes Clements, President and CCO at Monster Digital, will share how Monster built and perfected its own home-grown, proprietary workflow system to handle tens of thousands of print-on-demand orders daily — seamlessly routing jobs, tracking performance, and meeting aggressive SLAs for major brands and e-commerce partners.

Rodney McDonald, Co-Owner of USColorworks, will reveal how his team integrated multiple automation systems — including Fulfill Engine — to unify print, embroidery, and fulfillment lines, enabling 30,000+ garments per day without sacrificing profitability or quality.

Together, they’ll unpack how automation delivers real-world benefits — for both brands and their production partners.

12:00 - 12:30 PM - The Challenges of Robotic Automation in Apparel Assembly

Automating apparel assembly presents unique and persistent challenges that differ from traditional manufacturing domains. Unlike rigid or semi-rigid components, fabrics are soft, flexible, and inherently unpredictable—making precise robotic manipulation difficult. Moreover, most apparel is designed for human hands, not machines, which further complicates the transition to automated production.

While robots excel at executing repeatable, structured tasks with consistent materials, apparel manufacturing demands adaptability, perception, and delicate control—traits that conventional automation systems struggle to achieve.

At CreateMe, we are addressing these challenges from both directions: by reimagining how apparel is designed and by advancing how robots interact with soft materials. Our approach includes redesigning garments to be automation-friendly through the strategic use of adhesives, maintaining familiar aesthetics for consumers while enabling machine assembly. In parallel, we are developing next-generation robotic systems capable of handling fabrics with precision and repeatability where traditional automation methods fail.

This session will explore the technical, design, and process breakthroughs driving the next frontier of apparel automation—and how rethinking both the product and the process can unlock scalable, sustainable, and fully automated apparel manufacturing.

Speaker: Nick Chope, Vice President CreateMe

As CEO and CISO of Pillar Technology Partners, I help organizations move faster, smarter, and more securely by uniting AI, data, and cybersecurity.

From the beginning, Pillar has taken a data-first approach to security. That foundation has naturally expanded into AI—where protecting data and unlocking its value must go hand in hand. Today, we call this Secure Data Innovation: empowering leaders to adopt AI responsibly, optimize their data ecosystems, and safeguard mission-critical assets with enterprise-grade protection.

My focus is simple: ensure that innovation and security work together to drive measurable business outcomes. I connect strategy to execution so executives can move forward with clarity, confidence, and resilience.

In a world where technology and threats evolve daily, I believe the advantage belongs to those who stay nimble, always-learning, and secure by design. That’s the vision we deliver at Pillar.
